I wonder what line he plays on. |

He isn't better than a 3rd line guy anymore. A good locker room guy for the team though |

I think 1.5 mil reflects that.
Plus he was signed to kick rear in the locker room less so than on the ice.
Clearly Sobotka getting run and zero response from the boys didn't sit well with Hitch and Army.
I mean, other than Stewie going after guys for running Petro, when is the last time this team responded with violence when liberties were taken with one of their own?

I don't know how much Morrow will actually help the Blues, but it's a good signing by the Blues. It makes them a better team. As to how much better still remains to be seen. |

Meh, we don't have any superstar forwards; but our 4th line is probably better than a lot of teams third, and the 5th line we could have better than many teams 4th. |

I don't get why everyone is telling the Blues fans he isn't going to put up 25 goals. I think everyone knows that.... You can't put a price on what he will do for the young kids and in the dressing room. He wasn't brought in give them fire power but to add to their leadership and teach these young Blues how to be a pro and win. Great signing in my mind even if he finishes the year with 10 pts. |

there are a lot of teams with worse 1-2 punches up the middle then Backes and Roy. |

A nice pick up and much needed for leadership 'in the room'. Something the Blues lacked last season after the departure of Jason Arnott and season ending injury to Langenbrunner.
I approve.

Think you guys would package up Cole with Either Elliott or Halak? Whats the game plan with those goalies, Keep Halak and have Allen back up before the olympic break?
I could see Pittsburgh going for Elliott |

I thought about an Elliott and Cole to Pit trade but what would the blues get back?
It looks like Halak and Ells in net and Allen In CHicago with the Wolves. |

Don't the Pens have cap problems right now? I think they would be the ideal partner but they have been talking about moving Niskanen for a while now would they have the room to pull a trade like the one you are suggesting ? I think it makes sense I just don't know Pitts cap situation that well. |

Seems like they are tryign to dump Niskanen, that would be an upgrade over Cole,
Probably him and one of their D Prospects for Ellitott and Cole. Could be a starting point |

was just checking it at cap geek, they are over now but thats without AHL demotions in play, and if they put Vokoun on LTIR, Cole/Elliott have almost the same cap hit as Niskanen. Could work out |

Right on plus the buy out of Fleury next year and the cap going up only helps |

Unlikely. Binnington isn't ready, Allen is fringe ready; Blues aren't going to trade Elliott unless it gives an an obvious upgrade somewhere, because Halak is injury prone so we need the depth. |

Im sure you guys would rather take a run at Miller to upgrade situation if Halak/Elliott are not doing the job. |
